Using BillWink

BillWink is an expense management and expense-sharing application designed to help users record expenses, split costs, manage groups, and track balances.

You agree to use BillWink only for lawful purposes and not to:

• Use the application for fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activities
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the application
• Use BillWink to impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or compromise the application

Your Account

Some BillWink features require an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your account credentials secure.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, please contact us as soon as possible.

Expenses & Balances

BillWink helps you record and calculate shared expenses. The information entered into the app is provided by users, and you are responsible for ensuring that your expense details, participants, amounts, and payments are accurate.

You are responsible for reviewing expense records and balances before making or requesting any payment or settlement.

User Content

You retain responsibility for the information and content you enter into BillWink, including expense descriptions, notes, group information, and transaction details.

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, defamatory, or that infringes another person's rights.

CSV Exports

BillWink may allow you to export expense information in CSV format. You are responsible for how you store, share, or otherwise use an exported file.

We recommend keeping exported files secure because they may contain expense and transaction information.

Account Deletion

You may delete your BillWink account using the account deletion functionality provided within the application.

When an account is deleted, personal account information is removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Shared expense records may remain when they are necessary to preserve the expense history, transaction records, and balance calculations of other group members.

Service Availability

We aim to keep BillWink available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the application will always be available, uninterrupted, or free from errors.

Features may occasionally be changed, suspended, or discontinued as we maintain and improve the service.

Disclaimer

BillWink is provided as an expense tracking and calculation tool. We do not guarantee that every calculation, balance, or piece of user-entered information will always be accurate.

BillWink should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional financial, accounting, legal, or tax advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BillWink and its operators will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from your use of the application.

This includes losses arising from incorrect user-entered information, reliance on balances or calculations, inability to access the service, or loss or corruption of data.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes to BillWink, our services, or applicable legal requirements.

When we make significant changes, we will update the effective date on this page and, where appropriate, notify users through the application.
